The 4S Ranch Story…how we came to be!

4S Ranch & Forge didn’t start out as a place of serving others. It began as our little piece of heaven to raise a family and ride our horses to be competitive in rodeo. 

Before long, it became clear that working a corporate job, trying to be a mom and wife and ride horses competitively wasn’t the dream I had envisioned. On the contrary, I was miserable. I wasn’t happy at work, I felt like I was failing as a mother and I had ZERO time for myself let alone riding horses, which was my true passion. 

Eddy’s farrier business was successful, and he was completely impassioned with his purpose. He suggested I quit my corporate job, raise the girls and help him in his business.

This was the game changer that was the start of 4S Ranch. I could finally breathe,  dream and pray for what and how God wanted me to serve. And just like that, summer camps for youth were born and 4S Ranch was serving well and changing lives.

I was bursting with passion and purpose and decided more was better lol! So we created an LLC where Eddy’s farrier business was under the 4S Ranch & Forge, LLC and we began serving families, youth, teens and special populations in Equine Assisted Learning. I received a certification in EAL and I have never looked back.

We currently serve over 200 people through camps, special programs, leadership programs and equine assisted learning. We take pride in quality, purpose driven programs that use experiential learning to guide participants to learn incredible life lessons and empower them to live their best lives!
