OUR STORY
4S Ranch & Forge didn’t start out as a place of serving others. It began as our little piece of heaven to raise a family and ride our horses to be competitive in rodeo. Before long, it became clear that trying to juggle working a corporate job, be a mother and wife, and ride horses competitively was not the dream I envisioned. Eddy’s successful farrier business gave us the opportunity to pivot and he suggested I quit the corporate job to focus more on raising the girls and helping him in his business.
That leap of faith made space to breathe, dream, and pray for how God wanted me to serve. Summer camps for youth was the initial calling, and we have since grown to create an LLC that includes Eddy’s farrier business, a lesson program for mainstream children, and serves families, youth, teens, and special populations in Equine Assisted Learning.
The 501(c)3
We recently created a non-profit in tandem with the LLC, that allows us to serve at-risk youth, teens and families through fall, winter, spring and summer camps that teach life skills and deepen faith while building resilience and courage through working with horses. Our scholarship program offers those who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford a horse experience many opportunities. We currently serve over 300 children, teens and families. We have worked hard, with God leading us to provide quality, purpose-driven programs that use experiential learning to facilitate life lessons and individual growth in order to live out their best life, while keeping God in the center of it all. 4S Ranch & Forge and all who come, are my whole heart. I love serving in this way and am blessed! I hope I see you at the Ranch!
